NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PLAT FOR CONSOLIDATION OF SCHOOL
DISTRICTS
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 123A.48, subdivision
11, the School Board of Independent School District No. 100, Wrenshall, and the School
Board of Independent School District No. 93, Carlton, at meetings duly held on January
8, 2026 adopted a plat providing for the consolidation of the two school districts.
The plat was approved by the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education
on December 29, 2025.
The consolidation will take effect on July 1, 2026 at which time the territory of the
affected districts will be combined into a single school district, to be known as
Independent School District No. 0100, Carlton/Wrenshall School District, as provided in
the approved plat.
A copy of the approved plat is on file for public inspection at the administrative offices of
each school district and with the Minnesota Department of Education.
