Dear Carlton School District Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I introduce myself as the Interim Superintendent of the Carlton School District. I am honored to join this dedicated community of educators, students, and families who share a strong commitment to excellence in education, student growth, and community engagement.
Throughout my 38-year career in education, I have been guided by the belief that every student deserves access to high-quality learning opportunities in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. As I step into this interim leadership role, my priorities will be to listen, learn, and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure that Carlton’s district goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives are aligned to ensure our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I am excited to work alongside our talented staff, committed school board, and engaged families to build on the district’s strengths and continue moving forward together. I believe in open communication, shared leadership, and creating a culture of respect, trust, and continuous improvement.
Over the coming weeks and months, I look forward to meeting many of you—whether at school events, community meetings, or just around town. I welcome your input, your ideas, and your partnership as we strive to provide the very best for our students.
