The Carlton School District is hiring a temporary Director of School Operations to be contracted for work beginning May 19, 2025 ending no later than July 31, 2025. The position is contracted for no more than 320 hours. The Director of School Operations will report directly to the interim superintendent.
The Operations Director will primarily serve as a liaison between the district and the interim superintendent. Overseeing and managing the non-academic aspects of the district's operations. Ensuring the school environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning, focusing on areas including, facilities, transportation, and food service. The Director of School Operations performs administrative and supervisory work in the non-academic operations of the school. This includes budget preparation, financial management and reporting, purchasing, event planning and management, student transportation, the food service program, and facilities. They will work to ensure the operational success of the organization, ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met, and that resources are managed effectively.
