Tae Kwon Do is a form of martial arts. As students have fun learning kicks, punches, rolls and self defense they will acquire self control, respect, confidence and self esteem. Tae Kwon Do can help develop fit bodies and minds that radiate into the rest of a student’s life. The instructor is a 2nd degree black belt, starting her training 15 years ago with 10 years of being assistant instructor/ instructor. Shin guards are required for the class and can be purchased from the instructor on the first night. Testing will be an additional fee, which will vary in cost depending on the level at which the student is testing. This class is for children 6 years and older. Questions about the class can be directed to the instructor (info below) and questions about registration can be directed to the Community Education office.

This class will combine flowing movements, breath, and carefully selected aromas/essential oils in a calm vinyasa practice. This class consists of Sun Salutations, standing postures, balancing poses, twists, basic inversions, and always ends with a deep, relaxing savasana. Slow Flow is perfect for students who want to learn more about the poses (asanas), explore breath work and meditation, or just slow down and deepen into their practice. Whether you are new to yoga or well-versed, we are all learning together and there is a place for you in this practice.

Join our instructor, Bridget Sullivan, as she guides class participants through making an eye-catching deco mesh wreath that is sure to wow anyone who sees it. This crafty class will have you wishing you had learned to make these beautiful statement pieces a long time ago! Class attendees will need to purchase their own supplies (a pretty short list) which depending on the sales and deals at the time of purchase could cost around $45-$50. However, with a couple additional supplies, this will be enough to make TWO wreaths! Create one for yourself and make one to give as a gift to someone else. The evening of class you will learn the skill and take home one completed wreath. Wreaths similar to what will be created at class typically sell for $100-$130 on Esty! You can choose whatever holiday you would like: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, etc. It is your decision to make as you purchase supplies!
Supply lists will be emailed to participants once registration has been received.
