Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment classes are college courses taught at Carlton High School by college-approved and trained high school teachers. These courses are offered in partnership with Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and Lake Superior College.

Students who successfully complete these courses generate both high school and transcripted college credit from the partnering postsecondary institution.

The Accuplacer is a college entrance exam for community colleges. Students at the top of their class in grade 10 and 11 who score "college ready" on this assessment at the end of the school year to qualify for the Concurrent Enrollment at Carlton High School.

Accuplacer testing is required for for the College in the Schools program, Honors on Line and Post Secondary Enrollment Option(PSEO)
