In Accordance with and Pursuant to Minnesota Stature 13D.021

Beginning with the April 13th Board Meeting, Carlton Public Schools will conduct School Board Meetings through interactive technology and remotely. Additionally, due to the health pandemic, the school board has determined that it is not feasible for at least one board member, the superintendent, or the school district’s legal counsel to be physically present at the regular meeting location. It is also not feasible for the public to attend at the regular meeting location due to the health pandemic.

Carlton School Board meetings will be conducted interactively and remotely using Google Meet.  The meeting may be viewed live during the meeting, or the video recording of the meeting will be on the school web page the following day.

If you are viewing the livestream of the Board meeting, you MUST mute your microphone and disable your camera.  Members of the public may not speak to the Board during the meeting.

To participate in Public Comment, submit your written comments to Geri Thompson at gthompson@carlton.k12.mn.us by 6:00pm on day of the regular meeting.  Your comments will be read by the Board Chair at the meeting.

Members of the community may view the livestreaming of the meetings by going to www.carlton.k12.mn.us and under “District Events” click on the meeting event.  You will then be allowed to join the viewing.  Please keep your video off and audio muted during the livestreaming.
